Meet My Family
This is our Christmas card photo from a few years ago. It remains one of my favorites. The girls were 9 years old in this photo. They are monozygotic twins.
Our Holiday Picture Was Taken...
On our summer vacation in Vermont. We visited Smuggler's Notch resort in August, and had a family portrait taken. It came out so good that we wanted to use it for our Christmas card photo. Even though it is a not a "wintery" shot, the green mountains and our white t-shirts make it a good holiday photo.
Tips and Tricks
- Sometimes the best picture isn't one that you've staged for the holidays. It can be a great shot from an event in the past year, such as our summer vacation. When time is tight, look back for a picture you already have, rather than trying to create one.
