Ischiopagus Tetrapus, they are joined at the lower chest through the pelvis, facing one another. They have separate heads, shoulders, arms, hearts, lungs and legs. They share part of the small intestine and the entire large intestine.

Status and Updates:
The extended surgery, which lasted twenty-two hours, involved a series of procedures to divide the girls' breastbone, liver, intestine, urinary bladders, genital organs and pelvis. Then plastic surgeons reconstructed the babies' chests, pelvises, intestines and other organs.
