Status:
The girls were only given a 30% chance of surviving the surgery, as one of the girls, Angela Corina Pilo, would require a heart and lung transplant. Unfortunately, she died a few hours after the surgery due to cardiac arrest. Her sister, Angela Letitia Pilo, was in stable condition in intensive care after surgery.
