How To Paint Snow

By Pamela Prindle Fierro, About.com

Here's a way to bring a little bit of winter inside! Give your twins or multiples the experience of playing in the snow without the frostbite.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: minimal
Here's How:
  1. Pack a container (a highchair tray works great for tiny twins) with fresh, clean snow.
  2. Fill a squirt or spray bottle with water.
  3. Add a couple of drops of food coloring to tint the water to the desired color.
  4. Allow children to "paint" the snow using the colored water.
Tips:
  1. Food coloring can stain. Use caution and cover play surfaces and clothing.
What You Need:
  • Snow
  • Tray or container
  • Squirt Bottle
  • Water
