Eating Out with Multiples: Do You Dare Take Your Twins to a Restaurant?

Oh, the pleasure of eating out in a nice restaurant. Someone is there to serve you, you can choose from a list of delicious meals, and you don't have to wash the dishes afterwards. But if you have young twins or multiples, dining out can be more of a nightmare than a dreamy experience. The risks of a meltdown or mess outweigh the prospects of a pleasant night out. Endless waits for a table, withering glares from waiters, pity -- or worse, contempt -- from other diners, and exhaustive attempts to distract bored toddlers ... well, it just doesn't sound like much fun.

But you can have restaurant-ready multiples. With a few tips, and adjusted expectations, family dining can be actually be an enjoyable experience.
