A recent study in the Journal of American Medicine has prompted plenty of media attention on the plight of preemies.Researchers from Duke University found that preemies are:
  • More likely to die during childhood ...
  • Less likely to graduate from high school ...
  • Less likely to have children of their own ...

The statistics can be frightening for parents of multiples, whose children are more likely to be born early. It's important to keep things in perspective. What are the complications of prematurity?
