I had a son and when he was only 6 months old I got preg with twins boys. So, I have 3 boys 15 months apart. One of my twins was actually born with cleft lip and palate just to add to the craziness. I went on to have a daughter when my oldest was 4.5 yrs old and my twins were 3 yr 3 months old. After having them so close together, anything would have seemed like a breeeze. The good news is I made it through the baby stage and now they are 7, 6 and 2.5 and I have a new set of challenges.

Our babies 7&8 were twins, and our eldest was just eight. Twins are a bit harder. Especially toddler years (for me) But they are 22months and everyone wants more babies in this family. The kids (not mommy who gets most of the work) want triples or quads! I’m 35 and not cycling regularly since the twins, so don’t take your fertility for granted! We’re loving our family.

I was almost 4 months pregnant before I told my husband we were having another baby after the twins, and at the time the twins were not yet one! I thought for sure a fifth child would give him a nervous breakdown, but it didn’t, we all lived. Now, the kids are 18, 16, 6, 6 and 5 and I love the whole herd dearly. The last 3 are almost like triplets, but not; they are a force to be reckoned with and I wouldn’t trade any of them! Besides, the time goes by in a blur….a big blur…..

My nephew and his wife had a set of twin girls in 2004, and we a now awaiting the birth of their twin boy which are due anytime. After getting over the shock of expecting another set of twins, they are anxious for the new arrivals.
