Top Ten Side-by-Side Double Strollers

Friday April 20, 2007
Before my girls were born, my husband and I thoroughly researched double strollers, trying them out in the store for a test drive. We decided on a lovely green-and-pink-striped tandem-style model. It worked great for about four months. However, it didn't take long before the girls were sitting upright in their stroller, and the baby in the back was very unhappy about her second rate position. It didn't matter which baby we put in the back, she was unhappy. We ended up purchasing a Graco DuoRider side-by-side stroller when the girls were 6-months-old, and used it constantly for nearly five years.

A side-by-side, double-wide stroller with two seats facing the same way, positions both twins in an equal setting. While this stroller style is often more compact and easier to store, it may be more difficult to manuever through narrow doorways or hallways. Top Ten Side-By-Side Double Strollers.
