From the article: How to Get Your Twins on a Schedule
Many parents of multiples find that the secret to sanity is developing a schedule for their twins or multiple babies, allowing them to feed all the babies at the same time and encouraging the babies to all sleep at the same time. Yet, others decry this method, claiming that babies should eat when they're hungry and sleep when they're tired, based on their own needs, whether or not it coincides with their co-multiples' schedule. What about you? Did your family utilize a schedule? What worked for you? Share your advice on using a feeding and sleeping schedule for twin/multiple babies.

Schedule
- Linda I also have the same problem w/my 7 wks old twin girls..One burps easily the other takes forever and by the time i get her burped it seems like the other is just getting ready to wake again..tho they go about 3-4 hrs between feeds. It's frustrating especially when formula is only good for 1 hr...i waste sooo much! Not sure how to get a schedule started and stick w/it w/the burping issues. Any suggestions??

Twin Schedules
- I have 9 month old identical twin boys. I have kept them on the same schedule since they've been born. This type of scheduling seems to be the best approach for accomplishing our daily tasks and taking care of their needs. On the rare occasion that their schedule is "off", becoming two different schedules, chaos takes over. My boys are so accustomed to being together that they look for each other at nap, meal, and play times. They are 100% more happier and content when the other is by their side. I would definately suggest keeping babies on the same schedules to parents of multiples. I strongly feel that it benefits all involved.

Scheduling?
- I have twin 3 month old girls. I tried the scheduling of meals, that was ok, it is the BURPING that is an issue. One burps right away the other will cry for 45 minutes without a burp. Suggestions? Thanks!
