From the article: Double Strollers for Twins
If you want to get out and about with baby twins, you've got to have a good double stroller. Opinions vary on what makes a "good" double stroller, but all parents agree that it is a must-have piece of equipment when you have twins.

City Mini

I had several other strollers, and developed wrist problems from pushing. I totally recommend the City Mini. Was expensive, but received it as a gift and then when the boys were done, I was able to sell it for good money!

Baby Jogger City Mini - BEST BUY EVER!

I started out with the Graco double stroller, and I literally called it my Buick because it was so big and heavy. I purchased the baby jogger city mini after much research for a light weight, easy to manuever, fit through any door stroller. I love Love LOVE it!!! Worth every penny, and as a single mother with twins, it really helps that it folds flat, and very light weight. Recommend to ANYONE with multiples!

It's a no brainer....Mountain Buggy!

If you want something indestructible, go for a Mountain Buggy Urban double. It's built like a tank, can accommodate twins from birth, side by side, and has unlimited reclining options. It weighs a ton but is great upper arm toning every time you lug it in and out of the car. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Worth every penny

Snap-n-go was great when they were little. Then tried to save some money by using two cheap umbrellas with the connectors. Yuck! Couldn't get it thru the doors at the pediatrician. But the BabyJogger City Mini is absolutely wonderful! Very lightweight. Ridiculously simple to fold. Extremely easy to maneuver. Fits everywhere. Worth every penny.

double stroller

First Wheels city twin - fantastic twin stroller for growing twins, easy peasy steering, strong & robust. We don't have a car so don't have to fold it up - not recommended for those wanting a collapsable stroller as very heavy and seats have to be removed. Excellent general juggernaut though for parks, shops and bumpy terrain.

LOVE the Contours Tandem

I don't know what I would have done without the Contours tandem. I pop the car seats in there, have them face each other (which they love) and off we go. I get constant compliments on it, as it looks great, and while the steering is a hassle as it's long, it's absolutely worth it.

Mommy of twins

I have a Double Decker stroller. I'm not happy with it for only one reason - it is a bear to turn, since the front wheel is in a locked position (does not rotate). One has to push down the handle, lifting the front tire, to make even the smallest turn. Very disappointing, especially considering it could be great - love the stacking design, big tires etc. It was also the most expensive of the three double strollers I own. I also have the Contours double stroller, which is 100% wonderful in every way except its length - does not fit in my Prius, which is why I bought the Double Decker. We use the Contours around town and keep it in the garage. We also had a double snap n go for awhile, but our girls are in the 95th and 98th percentile for length, and they outgrew the stroller by age 5 months. Otherwise, I loved this stroller! Nice and lightweight, fit in my Prius too. We have Graco SafeSeats. Wish they made this stroller a little longer so we could use it still.

snap n go

I also am using the snap n go with my twin girls. They are almost 11 months and out growing it of course. I am looking for an inexpensive double umbrella stroller, which I am beginning to realize doesn't exist! I think I'll also buy 2 singles and the kit that attaches them together if needed.

For the first year, we used the snap n go when the girls were in their infant seats. This is a must have for parents of twins. No need to wake the kids when you get out of the car. Year 2, we used our Graco Duo Glider. Liked it a lot, but is didn't fit in either of our VWs. Only fit in our SUV. Now we just use 2 regular inexpensive umbrella strollers (with a small sun shade and a storage bag in the back), and when we have to, we put them together using a kit we got from Babies R US.

Double Stroller

We love our Combi side-by-side. We've used it from the time they were born, and my twins will be 2 in a month. It has held up well, and maneuvers easily through doorways and stores. We have a jogger & wagon for outside, but this stroller is great for shopping. I have had to push it while pulling a cart & have not had any problems trying to steer it.

Combi fan here

We first had the Graco Duo Glider, which was great when they were in their infant carriers. Unlike the snap n go we could put them in it without the carriers once they were 5 mos or so, and they loved it. Once they were around 18 mos, it started getting heavy for me to push and I was tired of struggling getting it in and out of my trunk, so I wanted something lighter. I found the Combi twin saavy side by side. Absolutely loved it! It went everywhere with us including Disney World. Once the boys turned 3, they started to outgrow it so we now use a double jogger, which is way too big and heavy, but it works for when we need it.

MOUNTAIN BUGGY!

Our Mountain Buggy Urban Double is fabulous! The swivel front wheels make it soooo much better than a standard jogger and it can carry 120 pounds of kids.

Love my Kolcraft Contours

I have the Kolcraft Contours Tandem Options stroller and LOVE it! The boys are extrememly happy in it - they love to sit facing each other. Handles well outside, in the mall, wherever. It's heavy but I think they all are.
