From the article: Names for Twins/Multiples
All parents strive to select the perfect name for their offspring, but parents of twins or multiples may find themselves particuarly challenged to make the right choice for two, three or more children. In addition to deciding on the right individual name, they have to consider how the names work together as a set. What names did you choose for your twins? And how did you decide on them? Jake Josh

My wife and I are expecting boy twins. We have settked for Jacob and Joshua . The names are biblical & begin with the same letter . But can we use Jake & Josh as short/nick names?

Out Twins

We choose Nathanael Avon and Taleah Riva for our twins. I fell in love with the french version of "Nathaniel" many years ago and "Taleah" is just a great alternative to "Leah".

my triplets.

i chose Kirsty Samantha, Keely Rose and Kloe Paula for my triplet girls :) i think these names are very nice and they wont get wore out. also i like the way they all begin with K it goes very well, i think if you have twins or triplets you should go for either ones that sound the same eg- oliver, oliver, or ones that have the same letters eg- ellie, erin

Cousins

my faternal twins are Ava Marisol and Zoe Isabel. Ava and Zoe both mean life. Marisol and Isabel mean lowly maria and God is a vow. they're unique but have a connection in meaning

My Boys

I have twin boys called Lewis James and Thomas George.I was a single mother when I had my boys and only 14 so I wanted traditional names.I named Lewis after my father and grandfather and wanted to keep the family name and his middle name after his father,I named Thomas after his grandfather on his fathers side and his middle name after his uncle on his fathers side.my point to try and name your children after relatives and people you know well

Our Mothers

The older 2 of our children don't have Christian names because that's what my husband and I wanted. When the twins came, they were named Maame Badu (My husband's mother)and Naa Lamiokor (My Mother)after our mothers. I love the name Cheryl and so I negotiated to have Cheryl (1st twin)and Charlene (2nd Twin) as their middle names. Our friends know them by their local names and can't get used to the fact that they don't have similar names. I love the choice we made because we love our mothers and though they have similar middle names which might end up being the 1st names when they start school, they'll still be independent because they don't wear the same attire.

My Twins

We named our fraternal twin daughters Fayth Elizabeth and Grace Lynne. We have a son Caleb Philip as well, and decided to go with old-fashioned names that weren't too old-fashioned. We chose their first names as their own identity name, but their middle names each are for a beloved family member. We decided early on that we wouldn't do the "who looks like a Fayth and who looks like a Grace" with who got which name. So, we went alphabetically. They both live up to their names and I am glad we did it the way we did.

identical girls-not identical names

We did not want the same initial, we felt they needed their own initials for labeling their bottles, backpacks, etc. We also did not want rhyming names. They share a birthday...forever. They are twins. They look a like...forever. The least we could do was give them "their own" names. I love both names, Gabrielle & Isabelle. But we had to chose only one so they wouldn't rhyme. We chose Gabrielle after the angel...since my name means messenger from God. We also chose Victoria. I liked Elizabeth with it, but my husband did not. So Gabrielle & Victoria it was. Their middle names are twinny though...Faith & Grace. We wanted names to reflect their twinship, just not "in your face" like a first name is.

My Girls

I chose Selena Jordan and Eliana Francesca. Selena is Greek for the moon and Eliana is Greek (or Latin) for the sun. My ex-boyfriend picked out Selena's name and I picked out Eliana's. The girls, also, have our middle names. So, Selena has her father's middle name and Eliana has my middle name.

Jersey Lynn and Justice Ann

I am a mother of these beautiful 6 month identical twin girls. I chose jersey and justice because i thought they were unique but not to much alike. LYnn is my mothers middle name. Ann is their other grandmother's middle name.

Family names and individual

We have identical boys. 14 months old. William (Will) Greggory and James Wesly. Wesly is my father- in- laws first name. My husband wanted names everyone could spell. and had to like the nick name that others would be sure to use. William is a family name but we call him Will. James is after a close friend. Our older son Peter Dennis, his middle name is after my father and so we used my husbands father for one of the twins middle name.

Our boys

We have identical twins and didn't want them to have matching names, as they would already have matching everything else! So we called them Clancy Duncan and Will Marlowe - Clancy is from a famous Australian poem called 'Clancy Of the Overflow' about a drover (similar to cowboy), and Duncan after a close friend, Will from William Shakespeare and Marlowe from Christopher Marlowe, another writer/poet from the same era as Shakespeare.

aunt of twin boys

my sister named her twins Ethan Ross and Aidan Michael... Ross came from my dad's name and Michael came from my mom's (michele). They also have an older son named Tristan so all of the boys' names end in "a-n".
