- I'm always dumbfounded when people try to PROVE to me and my twin sister that we aren't fraternal but identical. I will admit for fraternal twins, we definitely look alike. But, It always annoys me when I'm attempted to be proved wrong that we are identical.

- I'm a fraternal twin and I absolutely HATE "what's it like being a twin?" How do you answer that? Also, "where's your twin?" I don't know. I'm not in charge of knowing where she is at all times. The worst, though: "Why does she have braces and you don't?" Because she needs them and I don't! And when people ask whether we're identical or fraternal...but don't know the difference or how to pronounce fraternal.

- Most comments I receive about my twins are innocuous - people are fascinated by twins! The "double trouble" comments don't disturb me or annoy me. One question stumped me however. I had recently met an OB nurse who asked, while playing with my boy/girl twins, if they were identical. I get the general public not getting, but an OB nurse? Really?

- My husband and I have twins a boy and a girl, Andrew & Arielle(2) One day we went took the kids to the park because we have an older son, Austin(6). A lady came over to us and asked me if they were triplets. Austin is a average six year old boy and looks like one too and the twins look like two year olds.

Oh my goodness-seriously?
- I can't get over how people still question if my boy/girl twins are identical even though they look nothing alike and are of course a boy and a girl. Last time I changed their nappy they definitely weren't identical. That's the response I now give them!!
