unplanned pregnancy at 43 yrs - best suprise was to find out it was twins - already have two other children 19yrs and 10 yrs old - the twins are well behaved babies who we battle to tell apart.
twins were born at 29 weeks weighing 1380kg and 1300kg - stayed in icu for 25 days - thank God there no complications.
My Multiples Are Special Because...
the twins have been completely breastfed from birth - i express around 5 times to ensure that they have milk which they are fed through a bottle.
twins are totally breastfed at night (at the breast - some nights are a challenge as they want to feed at the same time)
they have never gotten flu or ill although they have been around family who were ill (suppose breastfeeing works)
Advice
- routine, routine and more routine - always plan things - meals, feeds, outings etc - prevents chaos and stress
