Nothing warms you up inside like a cup of hot chocolate or cocoa! Try this recipe with your twins or multiples on a cold winter day
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 10 minutes
Here's How:
- Bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Into a mug, measure 1/2 cup of nonfat dry milk powder, 1 1/2 tablespoonfuls of sugar and 1 1/2 tablespoonfuls of cooca powder.
- Repeat with a second mug -- you're making cocoa for twins, right?
- Divide boiling water between two mugs (1 cup per mug).
- Stir to dissolve.
- If desired, top with mini marshmallows and a dollop of whipped cream.
Tips:
- Do you know what the difference is between hot cocoa and hot chocolate? Hot chocolate is made with actual bits of chocolate melted into cream, while hot cocoa is made with a cocoa powder base.
- You can easily halve the recipe to make a cup for one -- or increase the measurements to make more cocoa.
What You Need:
- water
- teakettle or pot
- mugs
- nonfat dry milk powder
- sugar
