Is There A Twinning Gene?

Scientists and geneticists are studying a village in Northern India to see if they can find a genetic explanation for the high rate of twinning. Among the population of 800, there are 40 living sets of twins. The scientists wonder if the number of twins is influenced by the high rate of inbreeding among the villagers.
