If The Shoe Fits...
Saturday September 27, 2003
Keeping multiples in shoes can be a budget buster for families who have to buy two, three or more pairs at a time. It seems like kids' feet outgrow their shoes long before the shoes have earned their price!
Here's one of those "Why didn't I think of that?" products: expandable shoes that grow to accomodate kids' feet! Inchworm shoes have an accordion-like insert that allows them to expand one full size in half size increments. At nearly $40 a pair, they don't come cheap, but they do appear to be rugged and stylish enough to appeal to both parents and kids.
