It's awkward to talk about. Do you worry because you feel a secret preference for one twin over the other? Many parents do, whether they admit it or not. It's normal. It happens to most parents at some point. In fact one study claimed that it is instinctive, that parents can't help but show favoritism. In families with singletons, birth order lends a structure to the favoritism. Maybe Dad brags about his high-achieving eldest child, while Mom fawns over the baby of the family.
