Do Your Twins Give Each Other Gifts?

We have a family tradition at Christmastime.

1 year old fraternal twins, Sarah and Paul.

My husband and I split up for a shopping trip. We each take a twin with us to shop for a gift for the other. This has produced some interesting results. When they were younger, the girls only wanted to buy things that they wanted for themselves. It was difficult to get them to think about their sister's tastes and desires when there were so many tempting treasures in front of their little eyes. As they got older, they seemed to form an alliance. "I'll get you this ... if you get me that!" And no matter how much we encourage them to hold onto the secret until Christmas morning, they always, always blab to each other before the big day! They just can't seem to surprise each other.

What about your family? Do your multiples have any interesting gift traditions? Answer this week's parent's poll or leave a comment to share your thoughts.
