Follow me on:

When I was pregnant with my twin girls, my doctor advised me to take it easy. I was not to over exert myself or do anything stressful. "Like vacuuming?" I inquired. "If that causes strain, then don't do it," he replied. Yes! I happily handed over the vacuuming duties to my husband for the duration of the pregnancy. Unfortunately, he handed them right back to me after the babies arrived.

Now, vacuuming isn't inherently something you should avoid during pregnancy. But it's important to carefully follow your doctor's instructions during a twin pregnancy, to ensure the best outcome for both you and the babies. Discuss these 10 things NOT to do during twin pregnancy with your medical caregiver. Maybe, just maybe, he'll give you a pass for your most dreaded chores.
