Actors Broderick and Parker Welcome Twin Girls

Another celebrity family has welcomed twins.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Mathew Broderick's publicist confirmed that twin girls were born on Monday, June 22nd. Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick and Tabitha Hodge Broderick were delivered by a surrogate mother and weighed 5 lbs., 11 oz. and 6 lbs., respectively. The couple also has a six-year-old son, James.
The couple are well known for their roles in popular movies. Sarah Jessica Parker starred in the television series Sex and the City, and recreated her role as Carrie Bradshaw in the movie version. Broderick gained fame in the 80's with classic movies like War Games and Ferris Bueller's Day Off before enjoying success as an an actor and producer for film and stage.
Other celebrity couples have had twins through a surrogate mother, including Angela Bassett and Courtney B. Vance, Joan Lunden and Jeff Konigsberg, and Cheryl Tiegs and Rod Stryker. It is not known whether the twins were conceived using Parker's eggs or a donor's.
