Thrifty Thursday: Buying and Selling Twin Stuff
Thursday May 28, 2009
We're gearing up for a yard sale this weekend, looking forward to clearing out a lot of the clutter from the house and hoping to earn a few extra dollars in the meantime. Having twins, we are quite familiar with th consequences of "double stuff" -- double the clothes, toys and gear with out the benefit of hand-me-downs between siblings. We've always tried to participate in an annual sale, whether it was a twins club sale, school fundraiser, neighborhood yard sale or church rummage sale. It's a great feeling to clean out the house and know that our castoffs will be a new treasure for another family.
This is a popular season for sales. You may find yourself scouting the sales to pick up some good bargains for your twins, or in a position to turn over some of your family's gently used clothes, toys and equipment. Either way, get the most for your money with these tips for buying and selling twin stuff.
