Boy/Girl Twins for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie gave birth to twins at about 8:00 pm on Saturday evening. A boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, were delivered by cesarean section, weighing about 5 pounds each. Brad Pitt was with the actress during the delivery.

Although the twins weren't expected for several weeks, they were delivered early "for medical reasons" so that the babies could be born "in the best conditions," according to obstetrician Dr. Michel Sussmann. The babies' original due date was estimated as August 19th. Both mother and babies are reported to be doing well.
