I Am In Need of Sleep!

Monday April 28, 2008
From the message board forum:
My husband and I practiced co-sleeping with our twin daughters when they were born. (we had a big bed!) So, now the girls are almost 11 months old-and they STILL sleep with us. Which, I get, is totally my fault. But the problem is this-We have only one crib-really cannot afford a second one). So, I dont want to put them both in it-they smash each other enough as it is in our bed. BUT...they are still waking up usually about twice a night for each of them (at different times.) AND I want my bed back!!! Can anyone give me some advice? I am in need of sleep! ~ mommytobriandkai

If you don’t want to put them in the same crib you can look for a used crib at a rummage sale, second hand baby store, or try “craigslist” if it’s available in your area. I love to look for things on craigslist. It’s hit or miss sometimes, but people have items they sell for cheap or for free! I’ve used it several times for the baby items I needed and have run into some great deals.

Oh my goodness! I feel like I was reading something that I could have written! Our twin daughters are 11 months and we also are co-sleeping with them. The problem is, they wake up constantly & want to nurse throughout the night! The other problem is, if we keep them in their cribs, they are up too. I, too, will gladly take any advice anyone may have.
