Confessions of a Mom of Multiples

Monday September 17, 2007
Okay, I confess. In my ideal dream world of motherhood, my twins' clothes were always clean and pressed, their hair was always brushed and styled, their beds were always made, and there was never any cat hair on the carpet. I always greeted each day with a smile and never lost my temper or my patience. I kept the house and all its contents completely organized, offered stimulating, TV-free activities to encourage my kids' creative development, cooked a gourmet dinner every night, and protected my kids from every potential mishap and hardship. In reality, there are plenty of days when we stay in PJs until bedtime because we never leave the house, meals where the main dish is cereal ... for breakfast AND dinner, and dust bunnies under the bed bigger than the cat!

Now it's your turn. What are your true confessions about mothering multiples? Submit an anonymous confession.
