Do Twins Have a Bad Reputation?

Monday July 2, 2007
From the message board, "My boys go to daycare for 2 morning sessions a week. As most parents of twins know, they can be very energetic and full on with each other when they are together playing. They always seem to be the noisy and as someone recently said to me 'wild ones' in the daycare group when I go to pick them up from their sessions, mucking around with each other, giggling and playing - all harmless fun. I am starting to feel that they are looked upon as the troublesome twins, and are a burden or too much of a handful for the carer(giver)s."

Do you think that twins are sometimes regarded as troublesome or troublemakers -- despite the fact that they are well-behaved -- simply because they are multiples? Share your thoughts on the message board or sound off by clicking on comments.
