Graduation Announcements for Twins

Monday March 12, 2007
Twins and multiples share many milestones. One of those is graduation. Here's an interesting dilemma from a discussion in the message board. "We are in the process of order the graduation announcements for our son and daughter who are graduating this May. Originally I had planned on ordering their own announcements but the cost is pretty up there. The announcement company said that the names of twin graduates are usually put on the same announcement. If I do that, how do I keep it from looking like a wedding announcement?" Ladies first? Birth order? Stop by the message board and share your thoughts.

Is there a way the company could print the wording twice, maybe next to eachother or on another face of the card. Or see if they have a different fold with more faces to separate the wording and maybe even the pictures too. You could also make your own. I think you can order the seals (stickers) and maybe other parts like the name cards and envelopes even if you don’t order the actual announcement. That way they could still look professional. You could also ask your son and daughter if they want to earn extra money to help with the cost of individual announcements. Or even ask them if they care whay oeder they are in. I would put them in birth order, but your son might want to be a gentleman, or even not care. At the least, maybe you could suggest some different options that the printers should have available since there are more and more multiples coming into the world and I’m sure you are not the only one who has this problem.
