More than half of all multiples are born before their due date. Infants that arrive prematurely may require an extended stay in a hospital's NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) to address medical issues and give babies' underdeveloped organs a chance to catch up. It can be a difficult experience for families, but here are some coping strategies that will not only give you a sense of control over your situation, but will also contribute to your babies' care.
