Should your multiples be in the same class?

Monday August 23, 2004
My twins just received their teacher assignments for fourth grade. This year, we've got the best of both worlds. They are in different classes, but are team-taught by the same two teachers. That means that they'll have an identical educational experience, with the same homework, test schedule and academic opportunities. However, they won't be distracted by each other's presence in the classroom.
I'm really excited things worked out this way. Classroom placement of twins is a tricky dilemma. There's no right or wrong answer, as each set of multiples has a different dynamic with unique needs.
This article may help you decide the right approach for your twins or multiples. And please let us know how you've tackled this issue in your family by voting in the poll.
