Formerly Conjoined Egyptian Twins Depart Hospital

Monday April 5, 2004
Six months after their successful separation surgery, Egyptian twins Ahmed and Mohamed Ibrahim left the Dallas hospital where they had been recovering since their surgery in October 2003, and are living in a nearby apartment with their parents. DallasNews.com reports that the boys left the North Texas Hospital for Children on March 24, 2004. It is the first time that the toddlers have lived out of the hospital with both of their parents since their birth in June 2001 in Egypt.
